Areas of Practice

Health Insurance

IBAA works with employers of all sizes. Every employer has unique needs. We work with all of the health insurance companies in the marketplace, bringing your company and your employees the best benefits at the most competitive premiums. Traditional insurance is here to stay, however, IBAA always finds that exploring other options will reduce and contain employer spend. IBAA started bringing partially self-insured plans to our clients thirty years ago.

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is a very important benefit. More than two-thirds of your employees’ health issues can be seen by their dental hygienists when they have routine teeth cleaning. This results in healthier employees, lower claim costs on your health plan, and most importantly, reduced employee absenteeism. Dental plans offer two routine teeth cleanings every twelve months, zero deductible, and are covered at 100%.

Vision Insurance

Vision benefits is another important benefit. Poor vision results in headaches that reduce employee productivity. Most plans come with an annual exam for a $ 10.00 copay. Depending on the size of your group, carriers are offering three-year rate guarantees on your premiums.

Life Insurance

Group life insurance is very affordable to you the employer. You can also add additional voluntary life for your employees and their dependents. Employees find voluntary life insurance offered through payroll deductions as an added benefit from their employer and a convenient way to purchase this important benefit that protects their loved ones in the unlikely event of their death. Depending on the size of your company, insurers are offering two and three-year premium guarantees.

Short and Long-term Disability Insurance (STD & LTD)

STD & LTD assures your employees that should they have a short-term or long-term illness or accident, they will receive a portion of their salary per your disability plan. This will give the employees financial security while they are on disability.  Carriers are offering two and three-year premium guarantees.

Voluntary Benefits

Voluntary Benefits continue to grow in popularity. Employees can choose from a menu of benefits that match their needs and those of their dependents. These benefits cover everything from legal plans, pet insurance to accident and cancer coverage and can offer life insurance on top of the employer base life insurance amount and many more. The benefits are voluntary, meaning the employee pays 100% of the cost for these benefits and they are portable.
